Terms of service

Last updated: August 25, 2026

No legal entity registered. The operator of Httpfinder has not yet registered a legal entity, identified a jurisdiction, or established a postal address. These terms describe the intended operating principles of the service as currently provided. Until an entity is registered and these terms are adopted by that entity, they do not constitute a binding legal agreement. The operator must supply the entity name, address and jurisdiction before these terms bind anyone. Use of this service is on an entirely at-will basis.

Nature of the service

Httpfinder is a diagnostic tool. It accepts an HTTPS URL, fetches the page server-side, parses the HTML for subresource URLs using plain http:// instead of https://, and reports the results. The service is stateless: no accounts, no user profiles, no stored history, no saved scans. Every request is processed independently and no data from any request is retained after the response is delivered.

No accounts

The service does not issue accounts, logins, passwords, API keys, or any form of persistent identity. There is no mechanism for user registration and no stored user data of any kind. Because there are no accounts, there is no account deletion mechanism — there is nothing to delete.

Use of the service

You may use Httpfinder to analyse any HTTPS URL. You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with the terms of service of any website you submit for analysis. The service is provided for diagnostic and educational purposes.

Limitations

The service performs regex-based HTML parsing. It may miss subresources that are loaded dynamically via JavaScript, CSS url() references, or other mechanisms not present in the initial HTML. Pages larger than 1 MB are truncated. The server cannot reach hosts behind Cloudflare. The analysis is a best-effort diagnostic, not a comprehensive security audit.

Disclaimer

Httpfinder is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The operator disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall the operator be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of the service.

Billing

Httpfinder currently offers one tier: Free at $0 per month. No payment information is requested or stored. The Free tier does not require an account, and no billing relationship exists.

A Pro tier with API access is described on the pricing page for informational purposes but is not yet available for purchase. When Pro ships, these terms will be updated to include the then-applicable price, billing period, payment terms, and subscription terms. No payment processor is currently connected. The operator cannot accept or process real payments through this service today. Any checkout interaction shown on the site is a demonstration only and does not result in a charge, subscription, or binding obligation.

Until a payment processor is connected and Pro is launched, the following standard billing terms apply to Pro by design:

Note on planned features. The Pro tier described on the pricing page — including API keys, higher limits, and batch scanning — will require the creation of user accounts with persistent identity, which the current terms disclaim under "No accounts". Those sections will be updated at launch. The billing terms above are stated now so that the service's intended operating model is transparent from the outset.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the service evolves. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
